Ordinary Meeting - David Kidd returns from Africa

Thu, Jul 23rd 2009 at 12:00 am - 2:00 am

David has been working in the community in Africa for some time now.

As part of the Voluntary Service Overseas organisation whose motto is "Sharing skills and changing lives", David's altruistic assault on the challenges faced by youngsters in Eritrea certainly shows just what that means!

Ed's updated us when David's been able to get messages through, but now we'll be hearing 'from the horse's mouth' about his work, just one aspect of which is his 'Books for Africa' Appeal.

Here's an article from the Evening Chronicle (10/09/2007) describing David's adventure -
