Here is the feedback from the winner of Rotary YLDC 2025-2026, Aristide Selve,Coláiste Chiaráin Summerhill, Athlone.

"I just wanted to sincerely thank you for all the support and guidance you gave me during the interview process. Your advice and encouragement played a major role in helping me get this opportunity, and I am truly grateful for that.  

The trip itself was a magnificent experience, from visiting Stormont, Dáil Éireann and Europe House to travelling to Strasbourg, the European Parliament and the European Court of Human Rights. Taking part in Euroscola, sitting in the hemicycle, and listening to the Vice-President of the European Parliament speak was especially memorable and inspiring. I also had the opportunity to meet and speak with many politicians, including MLAs, ministers and MEPs, which gave me valuable insight into public service and leadership. In addition, I met so many new people, made genuine friendships, and experienced the strong sense of community that Rotary creates. It really showed me how impactful and lifelong these connections and opportunities can be. 

This experience has given me new confidence and motivation moving forward, and knowing that your support helped make it possible means a great deal to me.
