FUNDRAISER TABLE QUIZ

The Rotary Club of Athlone are holding a Table Quiz on Thursday 26th September, 8pm at the Buccaneers Rugby Club in aid of FAMS (Financial Assistance to Medical Students). A table of 4 people is €40.

FAMS is an organization that supports the training of Pakistan doctors; there are 5000 qualified Pakistani doctors working in Ireland. Sean O’Laiode, President of the Rotary Club said, the money raised will help trainee doctors with tuition fees, with assistance being paid directly to the college. We in Ireland have benefitted hugely from Pakistani doctors coming to work in Ireland and this is a small way to show our appreciation.
