- It's a terrific team builder
- Teams raise money for charity through sponsorship
- No experience required, tuition is given before the start of your first race
- Everything is provided, just bring along some spare dry clothes in case you get wet
- Teams may wish to bring their own tents to change in
- There are ten paddlers and one drummer in a dragon boat and you can have up to four reserves
- Each team has a minimum of three races
- There are medals to be won and an award for the best fancy dressed crew
Refreshments will be available throughout the day and activities for spectators and crews when they're not paddling. Team packs, corporate sponsorship and application forms can be obtained by clicking the relevant links below:
