School in a Bag
While visiting National Conference in Manchester 2017, we met Luke Simon, Founder of the charity School in a Bag, We were so inspired by their work that we felt we wanted to support this worthwhile cause.
School in a Bag is a simple solution created to help poor, orphan,
vulnerable and disaster affected children throughout the world. Each
School Bag is filled with
stationery, learning resources and eating utensils that will enable a
child to write, draw, colour, calculate, express themselves and above
all, learn.
An education for these children could be their passport to a life out of hardship and poverty.
The cost of a bag is just £20!
Our Donations so far
May 2018 - £400 = 20 bags shipped - Result of Brunch held at Marshside Road Methodist Church
May 2017 £360 = 18 bags shipped to Romania - Result of Easter Bunny Project
October 2017 £100 = 5 bags shipped to India - Result of Raffles & Donations

Amy's Swag is a small charity that brings comfort to young people undergoing cancer treatments in this area
moreEvery Friday our Members drive patients from Queenscourt Hospice out-patients to and from the Hospice for treatment. Each year our members also help Queenscourt Hospice marshal the Star Trekk 7 mile walk.
