Roary Club President George Paulson presents flowers and a leaving card to Clare Wingrave.

Our Club President, George Paulson, presented flowers and a card to Clare Wingrave, the Head Teacher at Oasis Academy Byron in Old Coulsdon last week, marking her retirement after many years of close association with Coulsdon Manor Rotary Club.

Byron pupils have provided memorable displays at our annual Old Coulsdon Village Fair, most notably their Maypole Dance routines, bringing pleasure to so many.

In addition, we have presented "Dictionaries for Life" to year 6 pupils at the end of their final year, with the opportunity to talk to them about the second stage of their education ahead.

We all thank Clare for her commitment and diligence, with very best wishes for a long and happy retirement.
