Quoting the event organisers “We know LitFest is well loved in the community because of the feedback gathered from our events, these reflect the good feelings generated by LitFest and illustrate its popularity. The literature festival is a locally focussed affair, drawing on local people to run workshops or participate in events including performance poetry, readings and storytelling. The festival provides a platform for local writers with a poetry competition and an ‘open mic event’ offering writers an opportunity to showcase their talent and efforts.
The draw of the ‘open mic’ in previous years has been really good, and the poetry competition is well subscribed”. Seahaven Poets and Seaford Rotary Club look forward to LitFest25.
