President’s Donation: Bansang Hospital Appeal

EACH YEAR, the President of Seaford Rotary selects a charity of their choice to receive a donation from Seaford Rotary.

In June, at the end of her presidency, President Mandy Davis selected the Bansang Hospital Appeal charity to be the beneficiary of the donation.

Thus on 17th July, when Anita Smith MBE, MRG the founder of the charity, came to talk to the Club on the progress with improvements made to the hospital, she was presented with a cheque for the donation.

Thanking Mandy for the donation Anita Smith said, “This is an unexpected donation for which I am most grateful.  The money will go towards a block of seven homes that are being renovated and extended, allowing for skilled medical personnel to work and have a place to call home”.
