Over the Rainbow Walk. Sunday 26th June 2022, 2.00 pm
Our “Over the Rainbow Walk” will take place along Seaford Seafront between Splash Point and the Sailing Club, about 5kms/3miles there and back. A nice Sunday afternoon stroll!
This is a FUN walk raising money for your chosen charity. It would be great if you could wear your most colourful costumes, so that you can fully enjoy the atmosphere of this fun, fundraising, fancy dress event.
We are aiming for an inclusive community event with a rainbow of colourful fancy dress costumes inspired by films, famous people, music, or your own vivid imagination; or perhaps something which represents your group and raises its profile would be an idea to develop?
You may enter as many teams as you like.
It should be a fun afternoon for families, groups, and individuals to enjoy. Walkers can choose their own charity or group to benefit from the sponsorship they raise.
The entry fee is £10 per walker in your group, or £25 for a family of six or fewer. This money will be distributed via each participating charity having its name put into a draw. So, our efforts will also support many good causes. Fun and Fundraising. What could be better!
We are planning to have free parking for registered walkers in the Martello Field. Before the event, you can check in at our nearby information point and receive an entry number
