The festival brought together more than 250 performers of all ages, representing local schools, choirs, bands and community music groups. From young musicians taking to an outdoor stage for the first time to experienced performers entertaining the audience throughout the afternoon and evening, the standard of performances was exceptional.
Despite this being the first time Seaford Rotary had organised an event of this scale, the day ran smoothly thanks to months of planning and, above all, the dedication of Rotary members, volunteers, sponsors and supporters. Their hard work before, during and after the event ensured visitors enjoyed a safe, welcoming and memorable experience.
The festival attracted an enthusiastic audience, with many attendees commenting on the quality and variety of the performances and expressing the hope that the event would become an annual fixture in Seaford's calendar. The evening concluded with a spectacular low-noise firework finale, providing a fitting end to a memorable day.
Seaford Rotary would like to extend its sincere thanks to every performer, volunteer, sponsor, food vendor, exhibitor and member of the public who helped make the festival such a success. We are also grateful to our event partners and everyone who worked behind the scenes to bring the event to life.
The festival demonstrated what can be achieved when the community comes together with a shared purpose. We look forward to building on this year's success and hope to welcome everyone back for an even bigger and better Seaford Community Music Festival next year.
