More than 70 Rotary Club of Hove members, past members, partners and friends plus key Rotarians from the other four Clubs in the city and beyond descended on the Dyke Golf Club to celebrate a miledtone in the history of the Rotary Club of Hove - it's 90th Anniversay.
On what proved to be a lovely, sunny afternoon, the celebration took the form of a lunch - organised by Adrian and Hilary Ball, Paul Thrasher, Ted Bartup and Michael Nettell - that featured a delicious three course meal served in the Golf Club's impressive dining room overlooking the Downs with the sea beyond, followed by musical entertainment.
Special guests included District Governor Annemarie van Bochove Allen, with her husband Mike,Assistant Governor Andrew Lawrence, Rhett Bartley President of Brighton Rotary Club, Pip Wez President of Hove Soiree Rotary Club, and Caroline Richardson President of the newest Rotary Club in the city, Beachside.
