Rotary Bowling Competition Friday Evening 1-Sep-2017
Hello Fellows
Thought you ought to know that our 3 teams of indoor bowlers won last night’s competition playing against 5 other teams and we do have the trophy.
Thanks to all who come and played and also to those who came to support their efforts.
We have to acknowledge the outstanding performance of Terry Monk’s team – he plus our friends Sandy Scott and Alan Stubbs.
It was a really enjoyable evening following on from Thursday’s excellent Irving Berlin presentation at the Mandarin Palace.
By the way somehow or other Ray Hare ended up with a pair of Clarkes shoes instead of his Hopper shoes that he feels might be a little tight on whoever tried to walk away with them. Please let me or him know if you have the wrong pair.
