Speaker meeting Clare Woodcock on "Stubbers

14th April 2016

Speaker meeting Clare Woodcock on "Stubbers

We had an excellent informative speaker today, Clare who has been with “Stubbers” for the past 10 years and was very knowledgeable about the history of Stubbers and how it obtained its name from a previous owner, it was surprising to hear the history from around 200 years ago and the changes since.

Today Clare showed her passion with future planning ideas and especially how they use the many acres of land.

What we heard today is obviously a very successful programme of adventure events that children of all ages thoroughly enjoy and compete in at their own pace.

The popularity of Stubbers Adventure Centre is illustrated by being fully booked during the summer for the next two years, mostly by schools with a range of activities that are vast with plenty of action from Archery, Climbing, Tunnels, Grass Sledging, Quad Biking, Commando Camp, Jet Skiing, 4x4 Driving, Banana Rides, Kayaking, Canoeing, Sailing, amongst countless other Adventure activities that even includes “Mud in Madness” The Adventure Centre is open every day of the year (except for two weeks over Christmas) you need to book your adventure beforehand if you want to participate in the events.

There were so many questions afterwards that our President had to limit our fellow members from asking any more, surely, indicative of the information content provided by our qualified Adventure Centre speaker.

Afterwards we were given a 50 page brochure that explains lots of their activities, costs, Quality control, Kit list, Code of conduct, amongst much more.

They can be contacted on info@stubbers.co.uk or by phone on 01708 224753 and can even book on line where there is plenty more information at hereunder:-
