Today at club our speaker was Alan Taylor
Alan has been the verger of St. Andrew's Church in Hornchurch for the past 15 years and as he said in his opening remark "Among other things I am in charge of funerals! ".
In his talk he gave us a fascinating insight into the history of the church including the 'legend' of the 'horns which can be seen on the east wall.
It was an interesting talk and many of the Rotarians present came away with quite of lot of facts about the church.
