Speaker: Mark "Taffy" Edwards and J.A.C.K.
On Thursday 18th. April PC 'Taffy' Edwards gave an entertaining and inspiring talk about J.A.C.K. the charity he formed to fight against Cancer in Kids.
Since the foundation of the charity Mark and his friends and colleagues have raised many hundreds of thousands of pounds both in Britain and the USA.
Mark was also a member of the Elite team that accompanied and protected the Olympic flame as it travelled the 8000 miles around Britain and Ireland.
He had the honour of receiving the 'Mother 'flame from Princess Anne when it arrived in Great Britain from Greece.
To round off a fantastic year Mark was awarded the MBE which he received from Her Majesty.
