The Rotary Club Hornchurch and Upminster was blessed once again with fine weather for the annual BBQ and Bowls event. In bright sunshine, the members and guests enjoyed the surroundings of Cranham Court Nursing Home thanks to the generosity of Indu and Shiraz Lakhani the owners of the home.It was great to see members from the Rotary Clubs of Havering East and Dagenham and especially nice to see the President and a large contingent from the new Rotary Club of Thurrock Gateway. The food, which was prepared by Matthew Ellenby and his partner Sue, was excellent and the bowls was won by PP George Larkey and his granddaughter Joanne O'Brien.
