Hartlepool Rotarians helped the Town's schools and colleges to collect a magnificent £8,378 to support November's Poppy Appeal.
The school raising the most was once again Throston Primary School achieving a record of £1,286, a quite remarkable total.
Not only did Throston retain their trophy for the most collected , they also achieved the most per pupil, at £3.18, for which they were awarded a second cup, The Ian Cameron Memorial Trophy, in front of the whole school.
Overall the total raised through ROTARY, including collections in ASDA, and other generous donations from the HARTLEPOOL public, was £ 15,735 a near record.
