Rutherglen Rotary were pleased to take a stall at the event to support this local initiative. Members were also there to let the community know what Rotary does by handing out flyers, showing display boards and talking to those attending.

The stall included a demonstration Shelterbox which is used to help families survive in disaster zones. Each box provides shelter and life essentials for 10 people and Rutherglen Rotary Club recently donated 10 of these for the Nepal earthquake survivors. (Each box costs around £590).

Rotarians were also selling plants to support our local charity work and raised almost £200 on the day which was enjoyed by all those taking part."
