Prestwick Rotary Race Night

The Rotary Club of Prestwick held a very successful Race Night at the Glenburn Miners Club recently. President Lorraine welcomed the racegoers to the event, which was well supported by local people and sister Rotary Clubs.

It was a very successful evening raising over £800 from the sponsoring of a race or buying horses with creative names like Harry Trotter, Rain It In, Winner Takes All and Nags Head. Seven races were sponsored with the eighth being an auction.

This money will enable the funding of more projects in the Prestwick area for the benefit of the community. Everyone had a wonderful night and a fantastic time. It is intended to repeat the event next year. President Lorraine thanked everyone for their support.
