Prestwick Rotary are delighted to have made a donation to help Prestwick Academy send a young readers 'Kids' Lit Quiz team to an international quiz in London.
The competition is based on a variety of literary questions, They have already qualified as the West of Scotland Champions. We wish them the best of luck in London on the 3rd of December.
They had a fantastic experience and thoroughly enjoyed the competition. They came 11th overall, which I think is still a super achievement given that it was a UK wide event.
The picture shows Mr Luca Fois, the school librarian and the four pupils in the team.
