Locally, Kilmarnock Rotary is a friendly group of men and women who meet weekly in the Park Hotel for a meal, listen to an inspiring speaker and discuss future activities whether they be helping the community or perhaps our next social event.
During the last few years we have been active in:-
We mentioned the Social side earlier and in addition to our weekly meetings we arrange visits to places of interest, e.g., the new Kilmarnock Campus of Ayrshire College, the new Wm. McIlvanney Campus that comprises Kilmarnock Academy and James Hamilton Primary School, the House of an Art Lover, etc. We have an annual Burns Supper and often explore local restaurants. We also have an annual Social Weekend and, for this, have visited Warsaw, Berlin, Lisbon and Versailles in the past four years.
We acknowledge that people may not want to make an immediate committment to join us so we offer an Associate Membership to allow you to ‘dip your toe in the water’ so to speak and get to know us.
We are always looking for potential new members to swell our ranks. Could it be for you?
We also understand that our time, place and style of meeting may not be to everyone's liking so we have started an online Rennaisance Group giving them full control of where, when and how they meet while providing the benefits of membership of the Rotary International organisation - see MORE
