Community Award Scheme

Applications for funding now available.

Community Groups, clubs, organisations and individuals seeking funding for projects and local initiatives are being invited to apply for financial support from the Rotary Club of Hunterston.

Through its popular Community Awards Scheme, the Club provides £200 every two months to benefit clubs, organisations or individuals working with children, teenagers, the elderly, vulnerable or disabled people in Ardrossan, Saltcoats, Stevenston, West Kilbride, Fairlie or Largs.

Encouraging applications to be submitted for the scheme, Hunterston Rotary Club Community Awards secretary, Jim Jackson said: “This has always been a  popular source of funding for local groups, clubs and individuals over many years and has meant that thousands of pounds have been donated as part of our commitment to our local community.

“We are ready and eager to send out a simple application form together with guidance on the rules of the Award Scheme to anyone who is interested in applying.”
Application forms together with the rules are also available on the links below and also from Community Awards Secretary Jim Jackson email: jim.jjwk@talktalk.net

All applications will be reviewed by the members of the Hunterston Rotary Club every two months and the names of those who will each receive the £200 award will be announced in the Local Press and on social media.
