Senior vice-president Derek Hall welcomed ten other members. It was agreed unanimously to suspend all future club and board meetings for the forseeable future.
Derek is keeping in close contact with Stewart Travel over the club trip to Split in Croatia from April 29-May 3. A Government recommendation against unnecessary travel abroad beyond the current 30 days or Easyjet cancelling the flights is necessary for refunds to be available. It was agreed that if rearrangement were to be offered it should be declined.
On behalf of Alastair Wilson, Donald Fullarton reported that the Primary Schools Quiz at Arrochar, which had attracted a record nine schools, had been cancelled. Arrochar Primary plans to use the questions for a quiz for its own pupils.
Adam Muggoch reported that a pupil of Lomond School, Holly Aitken, had been judged winner of the intermediate section in the District 1230 final of the Young Photographer competition.
The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature, on this occasion Famous Grouse, was won by Gordon Burgess.
