President Mike Jane welcomed eleven other members, and Graham Smith reported that he had heard from associate member Denis Taylor, who is suffering from pulmonary fibrosis, but is coping well.
Reay Mackay reported that seven pupils from Hermitage Academy and Lomond School took part in the local round of the Young Musician of the Year competition at Lomond last Wednesday evening, with two Lomond pupils, Molly Keating and Emily Shaw, taking the honours and progressing to the District 1230 final in March. He said that the standard of performance was wonderful.
Bill Deans invited interested members to the United Reformed Church in West Princers Street on Monday at 12 noon to help decorate the club's entry in the annual Christmas Tree Festival.
After the secretary read the Minutes of the November Board meeting, the weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by Graham Smith.
Derek Hall then conducted the annual Christmas raffle, with Ron Dunachie winning the top prize of a 12 year-old Highland Park single malt. Bill Deans won a bottle of Famous Grouse whisky, and the third prize of a bottle of Corbieres red wine went to Derek Hall.
