President Gordon Burgess welcomed twelve other members.
He said that the club had been invited by Anne Gloag OBE to send two members to a reception and buffet supper at her home, Kinfauns Castle, near Perth, on Wednesday June 6 to mark ten years of the Freedom from Fistula campaign and to thank Scottish rotary clubs for their assistance. It was suggested that international convener Douglas Dow might attend on the club's behalf.
The monthly raffle, this time for a bottle of 12 year-old Balvennie single malt from Dufftown, Keith, was won by raffle organiser Derek Hall, and members refused his suggestkion of a redraw. The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by Graham Smith.
