President Gordon Burgess welcomed nine other members, and announced that Douglas Dow had accepted the post of Junior Vice-President for the current rotary year.
He asked the meeting for authorisation to spend £95 on buying Crocus Corms from Rotary GB&I to plant to publicise the Purple 4 Polio campaign, and suggested that some of the corms could be given to the James Street Play Area committee who are currently refurbishing the play area. This was unanimously agreed.
The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by secretary Donald Fullarton.
