Australia Day Celebrations

John Pow visited Sydney with an exchange group and established links with rotary clubs in and around the city. A Burns Supper was held in Sydney and the clubs toasted Gourock Rotary. John felt it only appropriate for us to reciprocate with an Australia Day celebration at Gourock Rotary. With the co-operation of the hotel, John arranged for a barbaque dinner (mid January!!). Members entered into the spirit and came suitably dressed for the occasion (see gallery page). Cans of Foster's lager adorned tables and our friends down under were duly toasted.
