Club visit to Gourock Golf Club

On 22 Feb we deserted our usual venue of RGYC for a visit to Gourock Golf Club organised by our sports officer and Gourock Golf Club Captain Ian Mcnaughton. After a superb meal served up by chef Adrian Magnano, we were introduced to their newly built development studio with state of the art Foresight GQUAD launch monitor technology by general manager Alan Warwick. This superb golf simulator is housed in a lovely purpose built facility and allows users to play any one of a selection of famous courses as well as an impressive zombie killer game for youngsters. The evening was enjoyed by our non golfing rotarians as well as some experienced golfers who magnanimously allowed juniors Niall and Ross to hit the best shots of the night. The facility is not just for Gourock Golf Club Members and can be used by juniors free of charge and is available to the wider community to book on 01475 631001.
