With illness and flu depleting our attendance tonight, many members missed an excellent talk on Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park from the chief ranger, Mike Halcombe who was making a welcome return to the club. His enthusiastic presentation gave us a great insight into the many events and activities here on our doorstep in Inverclyde. It was particularly noteworthy that in spite of budget cutbacks leading to staff reductions, volunteers are making ever greater contributions and every year visitor numbers increase.
