This evening the Club welcomed District Governor Dinanath Lohia of District 3240 West Bengal, Prakash Gupta President of the Rotary Club of Kalimpong and Past President Andrew Philip Lal of the Rotary Club of Kalimpong. Members will recall that President Norman Pettigrew visited the Rotary Club of Kalimpong during his recent visit to India and gave us a presentation covering the trip in on the 27 November 2008.
This evenings meeting was principally to Install our new President Donald Crawford. Outgoing President Norman Pettigrew reviewed his year and reminded us of his two prime objectives being to "Promote the Rotary Club of Gourock Locally" and "To Increase the Membership of the Club". Both of these objectives have been met.
