We had our annual Burns Supper this evening and a good time was had by all. We were joined by some friends from the Greenock Club who joined were most welcome. Our own President John piped in the Haggis which was then addressed and successfully skewered by Allister Boyle, President Elect for next year. After the traditional fare of haggis, neeps and tatties, we were addressed by Alasdair Hendry, a local solicitor. His speech, full of jokes and anecdotes, had us rolling in the aisles. We are grateful to the staff of the Sailing Club for providing a great service, as usual; to our guests from Greenock for joining us for this event, and to Alasdair for a great speech.
