Christmas came early to Gourock Rotary this week. Jim Hunter entertained us by dressing up as Santa and told us his family history of being Santa. Jim introduced the motorized sleigh to Inverclyde. Many of us will have fond memories of Santa and his reindeer driving, or should I say flying, along the streets of the town. A number of other towns took up Jim's idea and there are now a number of motorized Santa's doing there good work across the globe. Jim also raffled off many of his prized possessions viz. the contents of his drinks cupboard for which we were all very grateful.
