Burns Supper

This week, in a break from tradition, we had a "Not a Burns Supper!"  A more relaxed, informal affair, John MacLeod still piped in the haggis and Allister Boyle addressed it, whereafter we then devoured it.  After an introduction from President John, dressed in traditional garb (for someone from Inverkip, at least!), we were then treated to recitals from some of Burns' lesser known works from our very own David Turnbull, ably assisted by Jane cox, Hugh McLure, Jim Adamson and Ian MacNaughton.  A thoroughly good time was had by all.
