Our speaker on Thursday last, during our annual Christmas bash, was ALAN BECK. He is an internationally well- known Scottish Tenor. A graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, he was principal tenor at the State Opera in Stuttgart from 1996 to 2002 and has travelled widely as a singer and actor. He spoke, with humour, on personal Christmas experiences in his career, on and off the stage. His talk was very interesting, and well received by the multitude. He finished with a polished delivery of "King John's Christmas" by A.A. Milne. Great stuff!
