Past Presidents Dinner

Back in the year 1994-95  the IPP Andrew McLaren and President of the year Edwin Robertson recognised the fact that the club had sufficient Past Presidents to justify trying to introduce a Past Presidents Dinner into the clubs programme for the year. This Dinner would be totally financed and run by the Past Presidents with no contribution required from the club. Dress would be formal and appropriate insigna should be worn.

The first dinner took place at the Torrance Hotel East Kilbride in February. The dinner was in a way an experimental situation, to establish how well it may be supported. Immediate Past President Edwin Robertson chaired the formal come informal evening, where it was agreed that Past Presidents who were no longer Rotarians would be invited along to our next year's dinner. In addition the current President of the club in a Rotary year would be invited as the Past  Presidents Guests.
