Working WIth Local Schools

The club works closely with the local secondary and primary schools in a variety of events and competitions

The Club organises a number of popular competitions each year for both our primary and secondary schools.  Our Burns competition for primary schools  (in conjunction with the Lanarkshire Burns Federation), takes place each February and winners go forward to the Lanarkshire competition.

The Rotary Young Photographer and Young Musician competitions have been running for some years, and in 2025 we hope to have entries for the Young Writer.  Winners of the Club round can go forward to District, and in some cases National finals.  The Youth competitions are a marvelleous opportunity for our young people to showcase their talents in many fields.
