Join us and make new friends in your own community and throughout the world.
This is the message being sent out by the Rotary Club of Sutton-in-Ashfield, who are conducting a recruitment drive in the area.
It is an opportunity to help your local community, joining fellow members in fund-raising and social events and at the same time making new friends and business contacts.
The club, part of the world-wide organisation Rotary International, is open to men and women and it supports local charities, helps out with international disaster relief and helps eradicate disease worldwide.
Membership of Rotary also creates endless networking opportunities and develops leadership skills.
This Is Rotary - Rotary International
What would it take to change the world? Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
