International Women's Day is an opportunity to celebrate and empower women everywhere!
President Sophie from the Rotary Club of Nottingham and DG Richard from Rotary District 1220 celebrated International Women's Day with Broxtowe Women's Project this morning! They were joined by incoming President Lynne from the Rotary Club of Beeston
BWP put on a fabulous event at Beeston Youth and Community Centre including a chance to visit the Fashion Matters Exhibition showeasing pieces from BWP's Courageous Journey Project, community groups and organisations across the borough
Huge thanks to Broxtowe Womens Project and all of the organisations that took part in such an inspirational event

We shared the £1200 we raised at our annual brass band concert last year between three local charities and last month we visited Emmanuel House to hand over their cheque.
