Sunrise House is part of Framework and is home to their Teenage Parents Services. The home provides safe and secure accommodation for vulnerable young women with nowhere else to go. In doing so helps to prevent homelessness and its damaging long-term impact. By offering a temporary home Sunrise House helps to alleviate crisis and gives young women a solid and supported base from which build independent and successful lives – for them and their children.
Residents participate in support planning to boost their skills and confidence and a resettlement programme. Staff assist service users in finding appropriate move-on accommodation and equipping them with the skills needed for independent living.
The new planters provided by the Rotary Club of Nottingham will provide residents with an opportunity to grow their own produce which they can then use to cook meals for themselves and others, giving them valuable life skills & confidence when they move onto independent living.
The Rotary Club of Nottingham has been established for over 100 years! We come together and use our passion, integrity, and intelligence to complete projects, locally, nationally and internationally, that have a lasting impact on our communities. Get in touch to find out more!
