The Rotary Club of Nottingham is celebrating this week after being recognised at the District Handover for its work in Rotaract and Social Media in the Rotary Year 2019 – 2020


The Rotary Club of Nottingham is celebrating this week after being recognised at the District Handover for its work in Rotaract and Social Media in the Rotary Year 2019 – 2020. 

Rotaract is a unique learning experience and an amazing opportunity for young people between the ages of 18 – 30 to develop professional and leadership skills while doing meaningful work to address the needs and concerns of their local community and the world. The Rotaract Club of Nottingham was officially chartered on April 4, 2019, and already has over 20 members from all over the world. Here is past president Paul Jones accepting a District Trophy Recognition Certificate from new President of the Rotary Club of Nottingham, Geof Bosworth.

The Rotary Club of Nottingham uses social media pages to exchange ideas and encourage others to take action to help empower youth, enhance health and promote peace. John Bendall from the club rigorously ensures that our social media pages are kept up to date. In his absence, Sophie Leadley accepts the Club’s certificate on John’s behalf from the Club President.
