Hadrian's Wall Rambles

Thu, Oct 20th 2016 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Rtn. Ed Kear, et al, shared memories of their recent walks along the route of the Roman Wall.

Members David Yates, Ed Kear,Mike Costello and Arthur Bullough set out to walk the length of Hadrian's Wall - just for the fellowship. It was David's idea - and they would walk a length during one day each week, over six weeks. Ed, with his geographic expertise, plotted each section - some longer and mpoe difficult than others!

The quartet described their journey in words and pictures - to the enjoyment of the rest of us.

Enjoy the slide-show above, taken from the presentation.
