Christmas Lunch with Inner Wheel

With the Christmas Message from the Dean of Durham, Michael Sadgrove.
Responding to a challenge given to him at the Christmas Lunch in 2011 when he came up with an acrostic based on the letters in Rotary, the Dean very cunningly devised one based on the letters of Inner Wheel.
And I will let you know what it was just as soon as I find my notes ....
Luckily, Elaine Leake, who presented the challenge to the Dean when she was President of the Inner Wheel Club, did make (and keep) some notes. So, thanks to Elaine, here is the acrostic:-
Intimation - an indication of what is to come;
Night - Christmas events seem always to be associated with night time;
Nativity - the birth of Christ;
Emmanuel - the Messiah:
Rejoicing;
Witness - or Wonder;
Humanity - at the heart of the ethos of both Inner Wheel and Rotary:
Exhilaration;
Expectancy;
Love.
