Crazy socks to raise awareness of Down's Syndrome
Traditionally on Odd Sock Day people wear the craziest and oddest socks they can find, not matching is definitely a requirement.
But this posed a dilema for Interact Club members as this would go against strict school uniform rules.
As resourceful as ever, they came up with a cunning plan... encourage students and staff to bring in as many crazy, odd socks as possible and decorate the school fence with them. Problem solved, school uniform kept in order and loads more visibility and awareness for their efforts.
The wierd and wonderful display of socks could be seen by the whole school and passing members of the public. Smiling faces could be observed whilst an important message was passed on - mission accomplished!
The story even made the local press.
