Spring is with us and there is work for Grimsby in Bloom in the Duke of York gardens. We assembled at 10 30am and were directed to do various tasks ,this included;
Litter picking ,(pleased to note that the litter has greatly reduced)
Cleaning the pond,
Painting the wooden sides of an upraised bed,
Cleaning the block paving
and renewing topsoil in an upraised bed.
It was warm in the sun but there was a cold wind. Nevertheless we completed our tasks.
We will be back in the Autumn
