Charter dinner.

This year's Charter Dinner was held at Stallingborough Lodge. Unlike previous years the theme of the meal was the United Kingdom.ie

First Course Welsh Theme . (Elsh Rarebit) It was introduced by  PP Mike Bull

Second Course Scothish Theme ,introduced by PP Ian Birrell.

Third Course Irish Theme ,introdiced by PP John Lavin.

Fourth Course   English Theme (Eton Mess) Jackie Bratton

Fifth Course Union Jack Flag , a selection of cheese. The President's Lady, Anne Carr

Throughout the meal there were the traditional toasts.District Govenor Elect David Hartley presented President Mike with two banners.This was in recognition of the fact that we as a club have contributed 100$ per club memeber for a number of years to Rotary Fondation ,this is our Rotary Charity.As a club we are unique and there are only about 4000 in the wolrd that have a similar achievement. The money is used localy and internationallly. The out standing example is the eradication of Polio in the world ,which has nearly been achieved.
