Planting crocus bulbs

A report on continuing support to eradicate polio.


 

We are continuing to help  the world wide Rotary programme of immunising children against polio.This year we have purchased 4000 crocus bulbs to signal our support.

 

These were  planted in the garden  at Grimsby in Bloom on Saturday  27th October .Working as in teams some digging up the turf,others  digging up the soil, followed by some planting the bulbs and finally replacing the soil and turf

We were able to complete the job very quickly and even had time to plant some tulip bulbs. 

The team was lead  Nigel F with , Stuart,Stewart,John N John D Gary.Simon,Mike B and Martyn
