ABP Half Marathon

A report our help for the event


 

The ABP  Half Marathon was held on Sunday 21st September. As before we were acting as Marshalls  on the Tetney part of the course. 

 

We assembled at 8am in the Cleethorpes Leisure Centre to collect a high viz vest. A selction of  nibbles,fruit,water and a warm drink were on offer.

After the brieing we set off for our respective marshalling points.The race (10k set off at 10am) and the half marathon at 10.30 am. 

I was at the mid point of the run and the first man came through after 35/40 minutes! At my location there was  a water station  and a crowd of onlookers who cheered on the runners.

It was a sunny day but  cold in the shade,
