Mike Carr is the new President of Grimsby Rotary.

The president of Grimsby Rotary only serves one term and a new one was installed on Wednesday 2nd July.The handover dinner was held at Stallingborough Grange. The usual formal procedure was followed.
Mike Briggs (now Past President) presented the chain of office to the new President , Mike Carr.
Mike Briggs gave his valedictory speech recounting the highlights of his year in office and mentioning that he had welcomed Melanie as the first lady member .
President Mike proposed a vote of thanks for Mike noting some achievemnts duting his year in office and gave him a gift.He then presented Mike with his Past President’s Medal.n
President Mike installed the following officers.
President Elect . Andrew Chisholm.
Secretary. Gary Allen
Treasurer. Stewart Wilson.
Sargeant at Arms. Martyn Turner
Deputy Sargeant at Arms. Ian Birrell.
President Mike outlined the programme for his year in office and tha his chosen charity will be the Rock Foundation (Grimsby).
A very pleasant sociable evening and good company.
