Fierce Elite Cheer 15 January 2025

Wed, Jan 15th 2025 at 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

A talk by Natalie Guidotti and Rebecca Moll from the Friends of Fierce Community Association

President Mike Quickfall with Rebecca and Natalie

Fierce Elite Cheer was founded in 2015 by Erin Kelsey at Tollbar School. Initially there were around 10 members which has grown to over 300. They are now based at a specialised gym on King Edward Street in Grimsby.

They have become one of the most prestigious and successful cheer teams in the Midlands, with 17 teams and additional classes and camps.

Cheerleading is best described as a cross between gymnastics, dance and acrobatic gymnastics. It is a sport in it's own right.

In April they are taking two teams with a total of 27 members to compete in the USA. Our club has made a donation of £250 to help with the costs.

Rebecca and Natalie gave a very enthusiastic address. It was interesting for members to hear of a local success story, and one that had not come to our notice before.

It was suggested that we might be able to watch Elit Cheer in action sometime, and we look forward to that opportunity!
