Annual Bowls Competition.

A report on the match and winners.
The annual bowls competition was held on Thursday 29th August in the People’s Park. It was a pleasant sunny and warm afternoon.
There were 5 ladies (who played as one group) and 11 men who were assembled into three groups.
12 ends were played and the results were:
A clear winner for the ladies team, Ann Turner.
Men’s teams three people from them namely; Andrew, Som and Mike Briggs.
In the play off Som was the winner,
Well done to all the participants and congratulations to the winners.
Afterwards we all went to the Waltham Windmill Golf Club for an evening meal.
